Spring Break Cooking School (Ages 8–12)

April 6th – 10th | 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM | 6 Seats

Join us in the Tiny House for a week of hands-on food science and kitchen fundamentals. Each day, kids will master a new skill and take home their handmade creations, plus "living" starters to keep the projects going at home. See individual classes for full details!

  • Monday: Kombucha Lab – Kids get to explore the mad science of SCOBYs and make fizzy soda replacements from sweet tea. Go home with all they need for continuous Kombucha making at home.

  • Tuesday: Granola & Cocoa – Kids sample and design their own granola and gourmet chocolate bark, going home with their own gourmet granola.

  • Wednesday: Sourdough Snaps – Kids will learn the science of keeping and feeding a sourdough starter and make their own crackers, mixing, rolling, and baking to their own taste. They’ll go home with crackers and a jar of sourdough starter.

  • Thursday: Fun with Black Garlic – Kids will develop their palates by learning about umami and acidic flavors through sauce blending. They’ll take home all they need to up-level family meals with magical black garlic and vinaigrette.

  • Friday: The Butter Churn – Kids will learn how cream comes from milk and will shake their way to fresh their own homemade butter. Go home with buttermilk and a recipe for fluffy pancakes along with their own butter.

Tickets: $50 per day (see individual class links above) or $200 for the full week (Save $50)

Take-Home: Daily food projects, starter cultures, and recipe guides.

Note: Parents are welcome to hang out on the couch, on the back porch, or return for pickup
